Malaysia’s QSR Brands has received a takeover offer from Idaman Saga, a vehicle linked to tycoon Halim Saad.
The company did not disclose any pricing details on the takeover offer. QSR said its board was deliberating on the proposal.
The shares of QSR were suspended from trading this morning along with its major shareholder Kulim and its subsidiary company KFC Holdings.
There had been speculation in the market that a foreign private equity firm was providing financial backing for Idaman Saga.
